If you need public documents, please submit a records request form to the City Clerk’s office. We will respond within 10 days. Public Records Request |

Beginning on September 14, 2009, City Hall is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. |

We are located at 115 South Robinson Street right next to the Police Department. |

You can pay your water bill at City Hall Monday through Thursday during office hours. After hours, drop your payment into the night-drop box across from the City Hall front door and it will be processed the following business day. |

The DMV is in the Veterans Hall on Tuesdays except for the 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm. For more information please call 1-800-777-0133. |

Please call City Hall at (661) 822-2200 to shut off your water for repairs. Water service start-up or termination forms are available at City Hall. |

Dial (661) 822-2222, press ”101” and ask for a supervisor, or come into the Police Department during business hours. |

We provide service within the Tehachapi City limits. If service is needed outside the City limits, please contact the Kern County Sheriff. |

In an emergency, dial “911.” Otherwise, dial (661) 821-3239 to reach Bearvalley P.D. Dispatch. |
